100 MM Nexus Mecanum Wheel adapter plate for Actobotics

This is our adapter plate for 100MM Nexus Mecanum wheels that's fully 3D printed. We've been using these wheels on our robots since the Velocity Vortex season and haven't had any issues with them. To assemble each wheel, you need two adapters - one for each side. There are six holes on the outer ring that screw into the wheels, and then there are four on the inside, which fit the Actobotics pattern. Before putting the adapter on the wheel, get whatever hub, gear, or sprocket onto it first. The hex holes are designed for 6-32 Nylock nuts when using gears or chain, while a hub just requires screws with their heads in those hex holes. To assemble everything, press three of the Nylock Nuts into one side's hex holes - you'll need to remove the existing screws and use the longer set that came with the wheels. On the other side, put the screws in so their heads rest fully in the hex holes. You can then tighten everything up, but be aware it's hard to fully tighten the screws attaching to the wheels. A couple of things to keep in mind: 1: The insert in the mecanum wheel (the white thing in the middle) has a bigger side and a smaller side - make sure your hub and screws go on the bigger side, or you'll have resistance issues. 2: When using a gear or sprocket, if you've fully tightened it before putting the adapter on the wheel, it might not fit due to the screws getting in the way.
