Check out our Etsy shop for all sorts of cool 3D printed stuff! https://www.etsy.com/shop/3DCentral We've created an amazing 100% 3D Printed Christmas Tree that's sure to impress. Our design was inspired by Daniel Noree's Furry Vase, and we used a similar technique to bring our tree to life. This technique is called a "drooloop," and it was pioneered by talented designer Mark Peeters - thanks, Mark! To get the best results, make sure to print both the 12" and 4" versions of our Christmas Tree at a layer height of .3mm. This will ensure that the branches look great. Don't forget to set your slicer to the right settings. For ornaments, we used pmoews' fantastic Christmas Ornaments from Pentagrams, but in miniature form. They look awesome as tiny decorations and add a fun touch to our tree. We attached the ornaments using a hot glue gun - simply apply a small amount of hot glue to a flat surface on the ornament and press it into place. Easy peasy!
