10 Sided Stackable Boxes
thingiverse
I crafted the base box some time ago. These are used for storing small parts while working on various projects so things don't become mixed together. They often end up scattered across my desk, so I decided to make it stackable and add a lid to the top box. The thing files have a slight offset to accommodate different printers. The inside of the boxes all share the same dimensions (ideally 72 mm), but the inserts on the bottom of stackable pieces and lids come in three sizes. There are three parts to each set: * Universal Base - This is just the standard box that can be used at the bottom of a stack or as a standalone box. * Stackable piece - This piece has a 4mm inset at the bottom that fits into the top of the box in the universal base as well as other stackable pieces. * Top- It's simply the top. It has the same part at the bottom for fitting the box. All printers are unique, but the 0.3mm offset provides a snappy fit that will hold in place, yet snaps apart easily enough. I recommend printing the Universal Base first and then printing a top with the chosen offset to check snugness.
