10 layers a star

<p>By editing the OpenScad code of my Piet Mondrian star I made another thinner version to decorate the window. Color is changed after the first 3 layers. Here you can choose any color. For the next 6 layers I chose white, and the last layer - the spokes and circles - is printed in black.</p><p>I printed the stars with PETG, my favorite material.</p><p>Starting with a thinner version of the mondrian star I came to the opinion that a more regular pattern is better for a ‘window star.’ So in comparison to the mondrian star, spokes, spikes and color is programmed in a regular pattern. The circles are not regular, and the spokes are not aligned to the spokes.</p><p>For me it is great fun to program OpenScad designs, which look not technical but more random.</p><p>I am using Octoprint to bring my gcode-Files to the printer.</p><p>Happy printing and if you have any questions about the openscad code, I'm happy to help!</p>
