10 grams bottle tripod

This is a compact cap that screws securely into most soda PET bottles, securing a camera tripod with a standard whitworth 1/4" screw and a rotula. It enables holding a standard camera and adjusting the camera in any position up to portrait orientation. Obviously for portrait mode, the camera must be relatively lightweight to prevent it from flipping the bottle! (As a proof of concept, I demonstrate it with a quite heavy Sony A6000 but it appears somewhat oversized for vertical shots!) It is an extremely lightweight device weighing only 10 grams and easily fits into any pocket or camera bag, yet this tripod boasts remarkable robustness even though its camera screw is 3D printed. Its internal reinforcement with a M3 threaded rod provides incredible durability. To use it, simply locate a suitable bottle, fill it with approximately one liter of water, sand, or soda. Then, screw the tripod into the camera, secure it using the nut, screw on the cap to the bottle, and gently tighten it until just enough friction allows for smooth rotation.
