I salvaged an old broken 40g breeder lid, repurposing its glass for my 10-gallon tank's new top. Initially, I envisioned making it removable, but now it's permanently attached. Despite this, the lid works wonderfully, keeping the waterline clear with a compact fan and concealing my hang-on-back filter from view.
