I recently encountered an issue with my ten-gallon fish tank at Walmart that I've had for years. The faulty component connects the hood to the main tank. Luckily, my 3D Printer and Sketchup came through! This experience highlights the real value of 3D printers - they can create parts that are extremely hard to locate or purchase. This was my very first attempt at creating a part with my 3D printer, and I'm really proud of how it turned out. Sketchup made designing the component significantly easier than I expected. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A6 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .1 Infill: 50% Notes: Since I was new to printing, I chose 50% infill to guarantee that part would be robust. It has held up exceptionally well over nearly a year without any issues.
