Human: The $10 Mountainboard Motor Mount for 5065 Motors Here's how to make a motor mount for MBS or Trampa mountainboards under $10 or €8 in just four simple steps (printing not included). The parts list is below, and I hope you have fun! This mount is incredibly easy to set up and works with any mountainboard truck that has an 8mm hole for the braking system, like MBS ATS and every Trampa truck. I used stainless steel, but inox or regular steel will do just fine. 1. Use the 8mm rod in the holes on the truck and clamp it down with 2-8mm bolts. 2. Slide over the 3D printed mount (prototype first, before installing) using 2-8mm bolts. 3. Install your 5065 motor(s). 4. Horizontally mount the 4-5mm rods with the 16 bolts. I printed it in ABS because PLA can become brittle at low temperatures; other than that, it works perfectly and I used an 80% infill. For a twin engine setup, you'll need: * 2 - 5065 motors (I used Racestar 5065 200KV) * 2 - 8mm threaded rods, approximately 18cm long * 4 - 5mm threaded rods, approximately 25cm long * 8 - 8mm screws (self-locking nut or thread locker is advised) * 16 - 5mm screws (self-locking nut or thread locker is advised) * And a gear system of your choice I've had the best results with a bearing that fits the wheel pulley itself, like on Evolve pulleys, but a chain works just as well. With a belt setup, this pulley works perfectly for me. If you need one for 6354/6374 motors, you can find it here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2901312
