10" Ceiling Light Fixture Diffuser
thingiverse
When our kitchen ceiling light fixture's glass diffuser inexplicably dropped and shattered on the floor, we figured out that replacing it with a new one from Home Depot wouldn't work because they only sell complete fixtures. Instead of leaving it like that, we decided to design and build our own custom replacement, which ended up looking way nicer than the original one. We designed this for an 10-inch nominal diameter ceiling light fixture but can be easily modified for different sizes. We made use of translucent PLA, yet any translucent material could also work, such as Taulman T-Glase or Taulman 645. Adequate build volume is a must-have, and a heated bed comes in handy to prevent curling. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printer: Rafts: Supports:
