You pondered whether SolidWorks might be more suitable than Alibre for this task, although you are unsure if it is possible in Alibri. Your sketch plane tangent to the desired surface fails to select the surface; kindly assist with this issue. Afterwards, you need to learn how to work with sheet metal in SolidWorks as Alibre's sheet metal version is too expensive for you. Please advise.
