This is an imaginative representation of a first-generation jet engine that significantly contributed to the actual operation of jet engines in the 1940s and 50s.It's the distinctive engine that has the structure you won't see today, and it lets you know the efforts of pioneers at that time. This type of engine was used for jet training aircraft for roughly half a century. The design point of this model; ① Double-sided Centrifugal Compressor (impeller) propels air through its rotating blades with incredible force ② Inlet case with guide vane directs airflow into the compressor with precision and control ③ Duct type diffuser slows down airflow while increasing pressure to prepare it for combustion ④ Can type combustor - 12 cans (there's an actual engine with 14 cans) combines fuel and air for efficient burning, with outer cans combined as a single assembly for ease of printing and assembly ⑤ Turbine - Axial single stage extracts energy from hot exhaust gases to drive the compressor ⑥ Turbine cooling system using "Ambient ram air" cools the turbine blades with outside air drawn in by the aircraft's forward motion ⑦ Front accessory gearbox powers critical systems like generators, pumps, and fuel pumps Assembly Manual (PDF format, total 16 pages) is a detailed guide including "Parts-List", "After printing treatment" and "Assembly procedure" prepared based on "Standard Skill (Filing, Drilling, Tapping and painting)". Purchase Parts Information; -Aluminum Tubes are required - see the parts list for specifics Screws Micro screws M1.4x3.5L & M1.4x6L are needed for assembly, screw directly into 1 mm dia holes without nuts, but having an M1.4 Tap will be very useful Screws M2 x ** are also required - see the parts list for details STL file Total STL files are 29 items including the stand and tools, with "ws" of last 2 digits of file name indicating "With Support" special designed. Total Net Print Time: Approx. 51HR - estimated based on case of PLA, 0.4mm Nozzle, 0.2mm Layer Height, 40% infill and no raft or support, note that actual print parameters may be adjusted by your experience. Printing settings Raft, Support, Layer Height, Infill: Depending on your experience, my models were printed by "idbox" using with 0.4 nozzle, 1.75 PLA. I wish you every success!!
