Sometimes we can't explain how we're feeling but we really want people around us to just... know. I often have days like that so I came up with this handy little gadget to make it a bit easier for everyone. The front cover of the Mood Dial basically just says 'Dial Mood', so that's pretty much all the instructions you'll need. As you turn the knob (which I'm more than happy to print in another colour if you'd prefer, just ask) the mood in the little window at the top will change, so all you need to do is to turn it until you find the picture which most suits how you're feeling. Then you can display the dial on your wall/desk/etc and those around you will be perfectly aware of just how you're feeling. Perfect for those 'what's wrong darling?' 'NOTHING' moments... You can choose from 'happy', 'sad', 'tired', 'bored', 'playful' and 'PISSED'. If you'd like a custom-made dial with your own moods displayed on it please send me a message and we'll discuss it; it'll involve redesigning the dial which will mean a custom order, but I'm more than happy to do it! I'm now also working on a 'Give Me...' dial, which will help people to know exactly how to help you with how you're feeling. The Mood Dial is meant as a fun gift for someone, but it's also able to fulfil a more serious role. It would be great for someone who suffers from Asperger's or other autism-spectrum disorders, who find it very hard to express how they're feeling. The dial could help them to show people around them exactly how they're feeling, taking away a little of the stress they suffer when dealing with social situations. 3D printing can do almost anything, so it's good to be able to help out those who maybe need a little more help than others.
