The H39 was a design of Battleship for the Kriegsmarine to succeed the Bismarck class. The design was the first of a series of designs.  The H39 were essentially larger Bismarck class battleships armed with 16 inch (406mm) guns instead of the earlier 15 inch.    The first two H39 class ships were laid down but were cancelled.    This model is designed in the 1/1800 scale but can be printed in 1/2400 scale without appreciable loss of detail. The model comes as several STL files, one for the ships’ Hull, Superstructure and multiple sprues for the turrets, cranes etc. There are two types of turrets supplied with the barrels either horizontal or elevated for combat.  We have tested a few of our designs at two additional scales: 1/3000 and 1/1200 which have all turned out really well. At 1/3000 scale though some components are very small and require additional patience when assembling.
