In the 30 seconds I managed to keep from work in December I decided to do the marathon with my Blake's 7 DVD boxset. Yes, the acting had more ham than Tesco's cold meats section. Yes, the visual effects were... ahem... basic. Yes, the sets and models were all tinfoil and balsa wood. But it was still great, and it's still just as good today. I also found out, sadly that Paul Darrow, who played Avon in the series, recently died. RIP Paul, you were Britain's answer to William Shatner and you could out-ham him any day.
