1:∞ gear system
thingiverse
This post is more of a design idea. I was trying to reduce the resolution of an N20 engine. I discovered something that wasn't yet clear. My ratio is 1:2.6. 10 to 26 teeth. I thought if you add the level, this ratio adds up. Actually they are squares. So you get 2.6 up to x gear.I use a 4mm brass tube as a shaft so that the gears can move freely. There are one or two washers between each gear. An M3 threaded rod fits snugly into a 4mm brass tube. The entire construction can then be closed with M3 nuts. You can also use a bar between the entry and exit points for stability.I designed it quick and dirty in tinkercad. I used the bad round teeth. As I said, this is more of a design idea.A note, if actually someone want to print those .stl's: The double level tooth wheel has 4.2mm drill hole due to my printer. If yours is more accurate you have to go through designing.
