1" Webbing to Arkiv Rail Adaptor
thingiverse
I have two vital pieces of gear that form an essential part of my Everyday Carry (EDC) kit - my trusty R6 rucksack and a pouch from Fabric Horse. I was determined to integrate the pouch seamlessly into my backpack, so I designed this clever adapter. By feeding thin 1" nylon webbing through the 'H' slot on the back of the adapter, the other end securely attaches to the Arkiv rail on the R6. This convenient mounting method allows me to add webbing and buckle without tedious sewing; instead, I simply position the buckle onto a pre-sewn loop of webbing. Plus, these buckles are fully removable. Print Settings For the initial print, we used 80% infill with two shells, setting the layer height to .27mm and the feed rate at 55 for extruding and 90 for travel. We utilized maker-brand Acid Lake filament, a 1.8mm diameter material that prints exceptionally well. Temperature Settings The extruder was set at 235C, while the platform temperature was maintained at a stable 110C. For optimal results, we strongly advise printing with supports; additionally, ensure the long axis of the buckle's base is parallel to the build platform's sides.
