1" tube to 3/8" bar zip-tie decaleur adapter
thingiverse
Attach the zip-tie to a 1" bike tube, securing it firmly in place. The other end will hold a 3/8" bar - steel or aluminum work well - for attaching a standard pannier like an Ortlieb directly to your bike. This setup is more of a decaleur than a full-fledged rack, as it's not designed to support heavy loads; instead, its main purpose is to keep the bag securely fastened close to the bike. For heavier loads, you may need additional support - in my case, the bag rests on the running boards of my longtail cargo bike, and this setup simply keeps it in place. The OpenSCAD code may be a bit complicated, but it's easy enough to modify for different tube diameters if needed. Remember that the scale is intended for post-printing adjustments - if your 3D prints shrink (which many do), you'll need to adjust the size accordingly after printing.
