With my spare S8, I aim to utilize it as a flight computer in my glider. Given aesthetic considerations, horizontal layer alignment was not an option. Due to the layer alignment, the neck has a tendency to break after printing. To rectify this issue, I created a M6 threaded blind hole, 30mm deep, into which a M6 threaded rod with Loctite is screwed from behind. The connection is secured by 4 M3x16 screws.
