1 pound Blockhead
thingiverse
I'm excited to share a re-mix of an original 150g Antweight Bot from earthwormjim, keeping his design intact and upgrading it from 150g to 1 pound. Working with a tiny Monoprice Mini 3D printer having a 120x120 bed, I had to break up the body into three parts - which adds to the fun! I've also included an option for a self-righting hinged lid. It's a bit unconventional, but it "should" work. Here are the electronics packed in: * ESC: DasMikro Duel (http://tinyurl.com/ybvkxqxj) * RX: Hobby King 6-channel to work with the entry-level Hobby King HK-T6A Transmitter (3-channel works too if you're not trying the servo option) * Drive Motors: N20's 50:1 (though I think 30:1 would be quicker) * Weapon Motor: DYS BE1806 2300KV brushless (http://tinyurl.com/y8rayba8) * Weapon ESC: RaceStar 10a (http://tinyurl.com/yd35e9la) * Battery: Nano-tech 3s 180mah (3s 450mha fits too) * Flipper Servo (*super experimental): TGY-225mg * Wheels: Lego 35mm + the 3D printed Lego hub attached * Door hinge pin and servo link arm are bent coat hangers. * All body screws and hardware are 3mm * Belly-mounted master switch = I use these DPDT from Amazon, (http://tinyurl.com/y6v7nf3m) On the armor plates, weapon mount arms, and weapon paddle itself, I'm using UHMW polyethylene sheets from McMaster. 0.25 for armor and arms, 0.5 for paddle. Regarding the N20's, I used a pair of small zip ties on each - they wiggle around, so that's not great, but since they're trapped in the body, they can't go too far. It works good enough.
