I have several spools of wire that were a bit messy. Either loose wire ends were being taped up, or they were simply tucked into place. A plastic clip seemed like a better idea - here's one. Typically available at Fry's and Micro Center, the spools I'm using are around 50mm in diameter when fully loaded, going down to about 30 mm when empty. To cover this, I created two sizes for each of two reel heights - one for almost fully loaded reels and another for ones that are mostly empty. Since I don't have an almost empty spool on hand, the smaller size remained untested but there's no apparent reason why it shouldn't work. Print Settings Printer: XYZ Da Vinci 1.0 Rafts: It doesn't really matter Supports: Also not too important Resolution: I set this at .3 mm Infill: Only 10% of the space is actually being used here. Notes: There's nothing out of the ordinary with this print - a glue stick was used to attach it to the bed.
