This is a custom-made case for one-ounce silver bullion bars. Made with the powerful online 3D modeling tool, Tinkercad, you can edit this design live by visiting https://www.tinkercad.com/things/8jGy8McUhu Printing Settings: Printer: The modified Da Vinci 1.0 Rafts: It doesn't matter, really. Supports: None required. Resolution: Set at a precise 0.4mm. Infill Level: Optimized at 12%, offering an excellent balance between strength and print speed. Design Notes: This design performs well with most layer heights, but to save time, I prefer to use the standard 0.4mm setting. To ensure structural integrity, infill levels should be a minimum of 10%. However, for this particular design, I've found that an infill range of 12% to 15% provides an excellent tradeoff between strength and speed. Additionally, I recommend using rectilinear infill over honeycomb for the top layers, as it produces more aesthetically pleasing results – unless, of course, you're aiming for maximum density. I used Simplify3D to slice and print this design, which has outperformed all other 3D printing software in my experience. How I Designed This: With precise measurements from a caliper, I accurately modeled the case for silver bullion bars using Tinkercad.
