In our computational fluid dynamics simulation of a 1 MW resistive load bank, we examined the impact of a staggered heater arrangement on forced convection efficiency. The cooling system features three fans with a flow rate of 4.1 m3/s at 20 Pa static pressure. Our results reveal that the staggered configuration reduces maximum temperatures to approximately 600 C compared to the non-staggered configuration, which reaches around 800 C.
