Here is the spun text: 1 inch ball perfect for pairing with Ram mount or similar devices. During printing, insert a 1 inch long 1/4-20 bolt to secure it in place. I successfully utilized the Marlin M0 pause feature (manually inserting GCode) to achieve this. My OctoPi interface seamlessly switched to "Resume" mode when reaching the designated M0 GCode. Prior to starting, I double-checked my custom "pause & Unpause" codes to ensure accuracy. This project consists of two files: one for the base plate and another for the ball itself. When sliced, the base plate is positioned underneath as shown in the photo. To create a seamless breakaway point, I carefully positioned the bolted ball approximately 0.1mm above the base plate. This results in a skipped layer, providing an easy release mechanism. If you choose not to use the base plate, the bolt will extend excessively and may cause issues during printing.
