I Required a Foundation for a Phone Mount. The Post and Base Are Left Hollow to Accommodate a Metal Support Rod, Which I Intend to Secure with JB Weld by Bolting It into Place. I Designed the Ball Without the Base to Function as a 3/8th Connection Bar Attachment. Having Printed Two Units, I Am Currently Assembling Them by Inserting a Bar in Between for Additional Support. Upon Completion, I Will Share Photographs of the Assembled Mount. Meanwhile, I Also Have a Version Featuring a Shorter Post, Which Is Easiest to Modify within SketchUp due to Its Highly Customizable Nature.
