Based on u/int2str's clip, I reworked the design so the LEDs loop around the build plate's circumference and widened the LED groove to accommodate my 10mm LED strip. The original width was too narrow for this particular type of lighting. Instead, I used a 10mm adhesive-backed LED strip from Amazon and wired them together in a series, connecting everything to a rocker switch.
