This is a 3-inch diameter round opening net cup designed for use with 1-inch square rockwool cubes. It features a 6mm angled hole for deep water culture airline tubing and an open floorplan, friction fit design that securely holds cubes in place. The cubes protrude about 0.4 inches below the net cup for maximum nutrient exposure. The net cup prints quickly using just under 9 grams (3 meters) of PLA filament at a 5% infill rate, with a gyroid pattern and two bottom, two top, and two perimeter layers. This process takes less than an hour and a half to complete. A minimalist cover is also included, which can be bent on the edge using heat as a finger grip. The net cup's thin design admits light, so I plan to cover it with foil tape for added protection.
