Building my VORON CoreXY 3D printer from scratch was an exhilarating experience. To provide it with a mobile base, I invested in some wire shelves, casters, and poles, thinking that would be enough to get me started. However, the poles arrived unfinished, leaving me without a way to attach the casters - no wheels at all! As a complete beginner in 3D printing and design, I decided to use my new skills to create a caster insert for the poles, utilizing my 3D printer's capabilities. I dove into Autodesk Fusion360 and designed this piece. The caster support is tailored to fit standard 3/8" threaded casters and 1" OD wire shelving poles perfectly.
