1/8th Scale Drop-Shaft Flat Car Hand Brake

This is a basic design of a drop shaft hand brake for flat cars that were used on older equipment. The actual hand brake wheel can be found on this site from another creator, so I based the size off of it. The longer shaft goes from the brake wheel to where the ratchet release would be, then the shorter piece goes from there to the chain ratchet under the car edge. I designed it so that the two shafts fit inside the first ratchet release. Both the ratchet release and lower ratchet can be attached to the car. I suggest using a high infill for these parts and a strong plastic such as ABS. A prototypical picture is included as a guide for use.
