The intended scale was supposed to be 1/87, but then I built an actual 1/87 person approximately six feet tall. The APC doors looked quite small compared to this standard. Therefore, the APC model actually falls somewhere between 1/87 and 1/100 in terms of its true size. This specific model was created using Designspark Mechanical software and printed on a Zortrax M200 3D printer with 140-micron layer thickness using black and red Z-ABS material. Features include: • The ability to remove the top • A swiveling turret that turns easily • Swing-down rear door with hinges that can move freely • Independent swinging suspension for realistic motion • A free rolling mechanism for smooth movement • A display base to showcase working suspension Special materials needed are 1mm rods for axles and hinges. For the front axles, 30mm long rods should be used. For the rear door hinges, rods measuring 15mm in length will be required. For the main rod that allows the axles to swing, a rod of 94mm will be necessary. To create the turret's rotating hinge mechanism, you will need a 10mm rod. NOTE: It may be essential to drill out some holes for better fitting. For non-swivel (squared) axle parts, place them as the third axle option.
