1/87 APC V2
cults3d
I was initially aiming for a scale of 1/87, but instead I created a model approximately 6ft tall, which is roughly equivalent to 21mm in scale. The APC doors looked relatively small compared to this scale, so my final model ended up being somewhere between 1/87 and 1/100. This model was designed using Designspark Mechanical and printed on a Zortrax M200 at 140 micron with Black and Red Z-ABS material. Key features of the model include: * A removable top section * A swiveling turret * A swing-down rear door * Swing suspension * Free rolling capabilities * A display base to showcase the working suspension To assemble this model, you'll need 1mm rods for axles and hinges. The required lengths are as follows: * Axles: 30mm long rods are needed. * Door hinges: 15mm rods are necessary. * Main rod for swinging axles: a 94mm rod is required. * Turret hinge: a 10mm rod is needed. Note that you may need to drill out holes during assembly. The non-swing axle should be positioned as the third axle.
