1/8 scale caboose
thingiverse
I borrowed the trucks from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2165853 Note: I edited the trucks so they fit together easily, as the original design has no clearance and most print heads are .4mm, or about 16 thousandths of an inch. This means you must leave at least 0.008 inches on either side of an object for press or slip fit parts. In total, I gave you 250 thousandths, but remember this is in 1/8 scale, so when scaled down, it works out fine. I designed the model in SketchUp based on an N-scale model shown in the pictures. The file provided is an exploded version in 1/8 scale, and you'll need to scale it down (I used 0.15 for the model shown, but 0.166 would be the correct scale) before splitting it up into parts using your slicer. I use Cura, where I right-click on a part and select "Split Object into Parts." Everything you need to print will be there. Enjoy!
