This mod began with converting a 1/8" Jack into a 1/4" one and then I discovered it serves a dual purpose, holding an LED for outdoor lighting like fences or decks. To achieve a flush mount setup, simply rough out a groove in a board or post to recess the rounded part of the holder. This versatile mod can also be repurposed as an audio jack or light point in a car or truck.
