1/8 Fluid Ounce tabasco model
thingiverse
I'm a veteran of the U.S. Military, and during my time in the service, we had tiny bottles of tabasco sauce in our MRE meals - just 1/8 fluid ounce each. Recently, I found myself nostalgic for those small bottles, so I started buying them again to add some spice to my brown-bagged lunches at work. Most days, I bring a lunch from home, and I recently purchased https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JG8REY2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I also got a refillable bottle that lets me reuse the small tabasco bottles instead of having multiple ones floating around in my fridge. To keep things organized, I decided to design a custom holder/dispenser for these tiny bottles. I started by working with the 0.125 fluid ounce bottle as my reference point. While I don't plan on printing the actual bottle itself, I used some of the skills I've learned over the past nine months in Fusion 360 - including sketching, constraints, joints, and analysis - to create a design. You can find the Fusion 360 file included with this post. I'll share the finished dispenser once it's done printing, which should be about 10 minutes from now on my current print job that's running for 4.5 hours.
