I've had a lot of issues with the traditional PC4-M10, PC4-01 bowden connectors constantly releasing my bowden tubes. Most people don't need to deal with this often, so maybe it's not even an issue. Update: With proper tension in place, these connectors seem to work just fine. I've only experienced the bowden popping out when I clogged a nozzle and when a print got too close to the bed. In both jams, it essentially acted as a pressure release valve. I've been testing this setup, and so far, it's working out. However, it did slip out during testing. After getting a feel for the right amount of tension, it has been functioning smoothly. In a tight spot, it will work until your order of a genuine part arrives. Another solution would be to simply get these: https://www.mcmaster.com/5449K171, or https://e3d-online.com/catalog/product/view/id/8625/.
