Here's my AIM-9 design based on the AIM-9M. The 1:8 scale model features a hole in the tail section for a solid rocket propeller, if you like to add that detail. The whole set is composed of three parts - tip, middle, and tail - designed to screw together seamlessly. To assemble it, you'll need a flat head M2 5MM screw and an M2 x 3mm Brass Cylinder Knurled Threaded rod, which can be pressed into the designed holes using a soldering iron. You can see how this works in the picture. For assembly, you'll also need a file, sandpaper, scalpel, and drill bits suitable for the job. Alternatively, you can glue the model together for a quick fix, but I recommend using nuts for a more realistic look.
