1.75mm Filament Cutter
thingiverse
Always struggling to find something sharp enough to cut through that pesky filament? Here's a heavy-duty filament cutter you can install right on your 3D printer (I've got a Tronxy P802M, but feel free to customize the base to fit your own printer). This clever device uses part of a standard 3/4" box cutter blade. Don't worry about precision - there's plenty of room in this design for the blade to fit snugly without snapping off cleanly (mine never has!). All you'll need is a couple of pen springs, two 20mm M3 screws, and one 10mm M3 screw (and we all have those extras lying around, right?). The blade is angled just so to make clean cuts that will help guide the filament into the extruder. Once assembled, adjust the blade height using the bottom 20mm screws until it lines up perfectly with the snipping hole at the bottom. Happy cutting!
