UPDATE: 2019-01-15 --------------------------------------------- The "Amazon Basics 2019.stl" file had a problem, which has been fixed by replacing it with "Amazon Basics 2019.2.stl". If you were having trouble slicing the first one, the new version should solve that issue. UPDATE: 2019-01-13 --------------------------------------------- The "Amazon Basics 2019.stl" file is now available to create more tension around the spool lip and provide extra space at the inner edge of the clip. If you feel the original clip doesn't grip the spool tightly enough, try using this new one. Inspired by filament clips from Walter on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/walter), but not remixed. The inspiration thing is: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:42528 I bought Amazon Basics filament first and it worked fine, but none of the existing filament clips fit the spools properly. So, I created these to fill that gap. I had printed a few from Walter's designs too, and found their thing walls wore down quickly. That's why I made these clips a bit sturdier than usual. The filament groove is designed for 1.75mm filament and features a gentle curve to help grip the filament and keep it in place. The clip also fits snugly around the spool rim, making it lock into place.
