1.75MM CONDUCTIVE FILAMENT FEEDER for ULTIMAKER
thingiverse
Hello everyone,\r\n\r\nI've made the bold decision to 3D print conductive circuits with my trusty 3D printer. However, when I purchased conductive filament, I encountered a major obstacle: the feeder system of the Ultimaker series cannot accommodate 1.75 mm filaments. Buying new kits was prohibitively expensive, so I took matters into my own hands and came up with this instructable to solve the problem.\r\n\r\nThe main challenge lay in GRIPPING, as the gap for PLA material feeding provided insufficient friction force to push 1.75 mm filament upwards. To overcome this issue, I redesigned and developed the most critical part of the Ultimaker feeder system. By reducing the filament gap, I was able to create a new part that would perfectly accommodate 1.75 mm filaments. I 3D printed the new component with 100% infill, resulting in an impressive outcome. Now, printing with 1.75 mm filaments is no longer a problem.\r\n\r\nFollow these steps and build your own feeder system. Additionally, in the final step, you'll find .stl files for preparing conductive circuits. Don't forget to watch the assembly and printing video I prepared specifically for this instructable.\r\n\r\nhttps://www.instructables.com/id/175-Mm-Conductive-Filament-Feeder-redesigndevelopm/\r\n\r\nWatch this video:\r\n\r\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAH4cnyXtqc
