The PLA filament protector prevents the filament from rubbing against parts of the 3D printer during printing by employing a clever design. It uses a PTFE tube as an insert, which significantly reduces friction when the filament is pulled or pushed. To secure this protector in place, I utilized two M3x15 bolts, mounting them to the top cross bar that I designed specifically for this purpose.
