1.75 mm filament figure 8 clip

This clip was inspired by intofocus's filament holder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:282242), which I couldn't get to work due to my own inexperience; the original's 1.75 mm diameter wouldn't fit snugly with my 1.75 mm filament, and the small hook on the open end was too fragile to grasp the filament properly. While creating a new hole for the clip, I realized that making a figure-eight shape and wrapping it around the spool once would be just as effective as using a clip that might wear out eventually. Here's my first-ever upload! Once I recall the successful settings I used in Simplify3D to print this clip, I'll come back with all the details. Infill was set at 50%, which is small enough that internal gaps would indeed be noticeable. A brim of four rings proved sufficient – I opted not to use a raft. I hope this helps you out, and please don't hesitate to let me know if it works for you. This is all very new and exciting for me, and one day I'll create something truly useful!
