1/72 model plane wall hanger
thingiverse
This is meant to hold a 1/72 scale model airplane securely on the wall using Command Strips, those adhesive strips known for not leaving marks and attaching easily to Command Hooks. It was specifically designed for a 1/72 Airfix Spitfire but may work well with other 1/72 scale airplanes too. With the nose facing up, the trailing edge of the wings fits snugly into two little notches, and the fuselage rests on the bottom elevated arm. This setup should hold the model firmly in place while still allowing it to be removed for closer examination. The notch at the top is designed for the tab on the Command Strip, making it easy to grab if you need to remove it, but it should be fairly well hidden by the nose of the model plane. I simply printed it flat on the bed with the arms up. I used a Prusa printer with Soulutech PETG in white, but any printer and material combination can work just fine. Printing it flat did result in slightly rounded edges on top having a stepped pattern. While this was acceptable to me as I wanted to reduce support material, you might prefer a smoother finish by printing it upright or at an angle. The choice is yours.
