A sturdy ESC mount for securely attaching an electronic speed controller to a mid-size model airplane constructed from foamboard, cardboard, and/or balsa wood with a wingspan of approximately 1 to 1.5 meters (~39 to 60 inches). The standoff features channels or passthroughs to thread small nylon tie wraps, which secure the ESC in place, allowing for easy removal when needed. It can be easily printed using a modern, affordable 3D printer without support, with various high-temperature materials such as PETG and ABS. However, PLA should be avoided due to its tendency to deform and warp at temperatures exceeding ~55 C (~130 F). To ensure durability, I recommend printing with PETG or ABS instead. I have been successfully using this standoff on my profile aircraft since early 2019 without any issues or problems.
