$1.70Clevis Tool Set for 2/56 (2mm) Threaded Clevis
myminifactory
A clevis tool set consisting of two precision-engineered tools, designed to facilitate effortless threading of "2-56" or "2 mm" nylon clevises onto the ends of standard threaded RC pushrods widely used on many mid-size models. The primary distinction between the two tools lies in their opposing design orientations, with each clevis held at a different end. These versatile tools can be easily manufactured using 3D printing technology, requiring no support structures on modern, cost-effective 3D printers. A wide range of printable materials is available for use, including PLA, PETG, ABS, and other types of readily accessible materials. Among these options, PLA proves to be a suitable choice due to its ease of printing, durability, low maintenance requirements, and long-lasting performance. Nevertheless, it is essential to store the tools in environments with temperatures below 55 C (130 F) to prevent damage. If left exposed to high temperatures, such as those found within a parked vehicle during summer months, it is advisable to utilize heat-resistant materials like PETG or ABS to avoid warping issues. The orange-colored tool featured in the accompanying images was produced using generic ABS and printed on a Prusa i3-MK2s 3D printer, with no reported problems since their implementation in 2018. An additional set created from PLA remains functional in equal measure.
