A 1/6th scale 3D model of the Commander's traverse Control over-ride control for the Sherman tank. This mounts on the Commander's side of the turret and allowed the Commander to directly move the turret to put the Gunner on a target. This was designed due to the very limited field of vision the gunner had. The control runs a cable that goes directly into the turret's traverse gearbox/mechanism.
