1.65" / 4.2 cm / 1 5/8" Fitter Shade for Pendant Lamp

If you have 1.65" / 1.42 cm fitter pendant lamps and need a replacement shade, this one is for you -- and it is wife approved! The print took about 5 hours, using 20m / 60g of filament. *Important*: You need to flip the model over before slicing. Fortunately, it doesn't use supports. We have two lamps hanging from the ceiling in our kitchen, and they broke, not for the first time. I decided to take my measurements and see if I could print a replacement. The prototype used walls 1 layer (0.8 mm thick, 0.6 mm tall) and was transparent PLA. The base was not strong enough and broke when removing it from the print bed. Also, it didn't diffuse the light very well at all. The final version has a thicker base and I printed it using 1 layer (0.4 mm thick, 0.2 mm tall) of white PLA. It looks so much nicer than the prototype, being more of a globe filled with light and is surprisingly durable (and I expect it won't shatter if someone hits it).
