Finally, custom header fabrication is a breeze when you have your 3D printer at the ready. No need to break the bank by spending over four figures on a plastic snap kit that may only see use a couple of times. Tubes bend together with ease for quick customization when laying out a new header or exhaust design for your next motorized project. Each tube features a bend radius printed on its side for easy identification, and I've even taken the liberty of printing different bends in distinct colors to make it simple to distinguish between them. Each bend block is equivalent to 22.5 degrees, so four blocks will give you a perfect 90-degree bend. Moreover, they have angle location marks or notches every 30 degrees to keep track of your compound bends and make reassembly a snap once you start working with real stainless steel piping. This comprehensive kit package comes equipped with 1.625 diameter tubes featuring centerline bend radii of 2 inches, 2.5 inches, 3 inches, and 4 inches, as well as 1-inch straight sections and a 1-inch straight section with a closed end for mounting to a header plate. I've also included the die templates so you can create your own holding jig and accurately cut the tubes on a band saw. The inserts can be printed, but it's highly recommended that you make the base plate and pivot pin out of metal. This is my v3 style of this snap kit, and I'm thrilled to report that the snap fit works fantastically when printed on my Zortrax M200. After spending weeks printing samples and revisions, I finally achieved the perfect fit, and the overall kit exceeded my expectations in every way. I'm also actively working on 1.75-inch and 2.00-inch diameter snap kits that utilize the same internal snap size, allowing you to snap together any of the different pipe diameters seamlessly. Additionally, I have some fantastic 2.5-inch diameter bends and straights for effortless exhaust layout and planning. Coming soon! I've now added a 2.25 CLR 22.5-degree part to match the Vibrant mandrel bend parts, specifically the Vibrant #2602 U-J Bend. I've also included 0.5-inch and 2-inch long straights, and will soon add a 1.625 CLR to match the Vibrant 2621 90 U bend. Most of the time, it's a guessing game with trial and error, which can result in a lot of scrap cuts and bends and frustration. But with the ability to quickly print and snap together what you need for mock-up, these fun fabrication projects become 1000% more efficient!
