Made this craft project for my daughter's American Girl doll myself. It turned out smaller than I had hoped, but I'm really happy with how it looks. I used fishing line as the strings (melted one end into a ball to lock securely onto the base) and some 2.8 mm screws to keep the line in place. The wood filament worked perfectly, resulting in a very nice finish.
