1/6 Scale Greek Amphora
thingiverse
I turned to 3D printing to satisfy my craving for props and accessories for 1/6 scale action figures. Or dolls, whatever the case may be, just let it go! This amphora is designed as a transport/storage container for wine in ancient Greece. The measurements were based on real artifacts from https://ancienttouch.com/greek_amphorae.htm. The design itself dates back to around 400 BCE and features many of the designs seen at that time for storage amphora. Notably, however, the design's handles are compatible with the hands for Phicen/Tbleague doll hands. Specifically tested with p22, p24, and m35 (all shown in the pictures). Pretty cool, right? I'm not sure why it is, but a sudden urge compelled me to re-create this amphora. If you need one, well here you go. Check out some pictures of Margaret and her friends getting ready to enjoy some wine!
