1/5 scale R/C buggy wheel
thingiverse
This is a 1/5 scale model I reverse-engineered from an existing R/C truck, powered by a potent 27cc two-stroke engine. The holes for the lock rings have not been precision-crafted to exacting standards, which can be affected by material and printer type or brand. PLEASE NOTE: This wheel design was conceptualized in 2014 but never brought to life through printing. Consequently, I've included a Solidworks file for any adjustments that may be necessary to refine the model. Additionally, I've provided a blank wheel template that can be customized with a sketch on its top surface to cut out unique spoke designs, drawing inspiration from the AT1 wheel as a reference point. Cheerful regards! Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer Model: Simple Black Raft Settings: No raft Support Settings: Yes Resolution: A layer height of 0.3mm Infill Pattern: Concentric Notes: Please consult the attached Solidworks file for any necessary modifications to the model. Consider using the AT1 wheel as a reference point when designing custom spoke patterns.
