1:5 Scale 20 Ton Jack for WWII German Tanks

1:5 Scale 20 Ton Jack for WWII German Tanks

I did an internet search for details on the 20 ton jack used for German armored vehicles in WWII. Much credit goes to the late Per Sonnervik whose interest in this subject led to some very nice external drawings and details of the ratchet handle assembly. I had to figure out the internal workings, and by trial and error I arrived at a working configuration. It goes well with the scratch built 1:5 scale Panther tank that I have just finished after 15 years of intermittent activity. I plan to post a few more items that I have 3D printed for the Panther Tank Project, so stay tuned! I designed everything in Tinkercad.
